The Artist
A journey through strokes and intuition
My artistic journey began with learning Mandarin in my youth, where I was introduced to the art of Chinese calligraphy, known as Shufa (书法). The meditative practice of brush strokes, the balance between control and spontaneity, and the expression of energy through ink became the foundation of my artistic expression.
Today, my work combines the principles of Shufa with abstract intuitive painting. Using acrylic medium as my primary tool, complemented by pencil, charcoal, and ink, I create pieces that bridge Eastern calligraphic traditions with contemporary abstract expression.
Each painting emerges from a state of emptiness—a meditative space where intuition guides the brush, allowing the strokes to flow naturally and authentically.
